Just got off the phone to Mum and have had the best possible positive news today

The Consultant was very happy with how everything is healing and best of all, there was no signs of any cancerous cells in the surrounding Lymph Nodes that were removed during the lumpectomy.

As standard procedure Mum will be having three weeks of five treatments a week of radiotherapy and will be on hormone tablets for five years.
She will have to have a Mammogram every year rather than once every three years but that is a small inconvenience for the best news that Mum/we could have been given

I will be popping to see Mum tomorrow on my day off and will give her a great big hug

Thanks again to everyone for their good wishes and let's keep this positive vibe going

My apologies Jeff for picking up this wonderful news late. Jessica and myself are very happy for you. Please pass on our good thoughts to your mum and we hope she remains strong and positive for the rest of her treatment. The one and the many, are behind you Jeff
