I guess anyone with the hollow unlock pusher could pack it with silicone. The should fix a bungee button.

Update on fob casings from ebay
Didn't bother messing about with the rubbish case as it didn't fit together correctly at one end anyway so purchased another one with a Land Rover oval on it.
What a difference. the tangs inside held the circuit board as they should. the case clipped together firmly and both the buttons work a treat because the plungers have solid centres. Changed over in 5 mins. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/chequers-m...p2047675.l2559 These are the good ones. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/kacperghos...p2047675.l2559 These are the rubbish ones to avoid. |

My ebay one works fine, l put the new front on the old back. My problem is the block around the blade had been glued & would not come out until some mutilation had occurred. So the fob works but the blade is as yet, unattached. It's my spare at present.

I ordered mine here. Seems to be genuine Valeo, and if it’s not, it’s a darn good copy. Every feels tight, secure and as it should.

It looks exactly the same! Valeo stamp on the back and serial number. I've had cheap, useless copies, and this definitely isn't.

The profile of the unlock button of your key is incorrect, trust me I've seen every type of aftermarket key case for 75's, and while yours is one of the better copies, Valeo it is not Brian |

Earlier today I fitted the PCB and blade from one of my original Valeo fobs to a replacement key fob ordered and bought from ebay last week ( could not find an original Valeo new replacement ).
The lock and unlock buttons worked fine and the blade fitted ok- I would have glued the blade in but for the fact that putting the key into the ignition and turning it on caused the message "engine immobilised" to be displayed on the IPK... Put the PCB and blade back into my original Valeo fob (with missing buttons) and normal key operated ignition returns. Any ideas? Anyone? |
