I can't really justify nearly three hundred pounds for a rattle gun either... just wouldn't use it enough. Anybody got experience of the 710Nm CEW1100 from the same people? I know a mains IW isn't as handy but at £110 it is easier to justify.

It’s worth noting that the MAC tools battery gun is a DeWALT DCF899H.

That amazon one is ¼” hex while you can adapter them up to ½” drive it’s never a clever idea.

It would be good for driving screws but looks like it’s very similar to the unbranded stuff that’s made for Lidl and Aldi but they are half the cost again.

In the link, it is an imapct DRIVER as opposed to an impact WRENCH. I have the Lidl mains impact wrench, and even outperformed my air impact gun on the suspension arm to hub last year. I reckon that was more to do with my compressor's receiver being too small, but the electric one started to loosen it after about 10 seconds.

The Lidl one was about £40 if I recall (as was their battery impact DRIVER) but the switch failed on its third use. I opened it up and put it back together, been working ever since.
