Re-badging
Got my ZT back in Feb this year and all the badges were in a pretty sorry state. Knowing how poorly manufactured the originals were (plastic backed, transfer and plastic film covering) as I previously had a ZS, I decided not to go down the Rimmer's £25 for a new front badge route - would have cost me close to £70 to do all the badges that way.
Found this guy on Ebay who does properly enamelled badges on decent looking chromed metal. And decent they are - weighty too. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZT-badge-upgrade-front-grille-rear-3-chequerred-and-union-jack-flags/303682110529?hash=item46b4dd4441:g:SQQAAOSwofxUfPS t He also does a badge for the mk2 75. I've no connection with this guy. It's purely a recommendation from a happy customer. |
