I'd say a little cheaper , up here in the North , at about £500 - £600 .
Do make sure they will fit decent named parts ; LUK or Borg and Beck for instance .

My car had a clutch that grumbled for a good year before I had it all replaced.

A bit of a trek for you but Chris Marshall, a trader on here replaced mine, ball park figure is about £400.

Exeter road garage is down your way.
