Yeah I used it to add a new spare key, turn off the auto rear screen heater etc. Handy

It's a very good bit of kit Needs to be used with caution as it could do some damage if not , but I have done some really useful things with it . Most impressive was installing a new BCU and then programming the car's keys with it !

Oooh, an advanced user

Haven't had to do anything that ambitious yet... so can it code replacement modules (LCU etc) to the car if necessary?

I certainly can't claim to be an advanced user , but there are lots of helpful people on here . Here is the post I made at the time I replaced the BCU .......https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...light=toaf+bcu

Yes you can easily code used LSM modules etc to the car using the VIN tools, which I guess Chris75 used. I haven't tried it but think it can also handle the IPK provided a virgin chip is fitted.

Next project is getting Toaf Android working on my Xtrons unit, but awaiting a USB cable from eBay as I normally use a serial cable with Toaf.

Regards

Just downloaded Toaf Mobile on to my android phone. What cable do I need to use it?
Already have a modified cable to use via the laptop but obviously that has a normal usb plug not micro usb or usb-c?

Shame my car failed its MOT today - handbrake! ☹️ I think I knew that was coming! Not the best handbrake ever designed by BMW!
