Fit the new headlining not too bad a job in the end. Going to need a few sessions with the hoover to get the old foam bits out though.
Oh and the back seat won't lock in place now, took me ages to get it to lock after I fit the leather ones :-( and the lock button has fell off on the rear passenger side door too still somethings to look at tomorrow or the nano next weekend . Sent from my SM-G977B using Tapatalk |

I took 138 out to Beech hill garage today for a service, an excellent job done by Andy, shiner on here, highlighted a couple of jobs to be done , and then a very relaxing drive home home back to Romsey,.................................well, almost,
the Vauxhall Camaro driver was very impressed and it was very nice to get a friendly nod of approval from a fellow petrol head. |

Used the 75 as a van, loaded it with tools, went and stripped out all the insulation from a unit that is about to be torn down, loaded it into the car (after laying out dust sheets etc) and transported it home (to insulate our new cabin before we board it out - saved a fortune in insulation!). Quickly cut the sheets to size and fitted them, spent the rest of the afternoon vacuuming up all the little pieces of polystyrene that were left in the car after removing the dust sheets!

Decided to wash, polish and wax the ZT yesterday. Temperature topped out at 32C. First proper clean she's had since I got her. Amazing how well the paintwork came up, especially seeing at there were some pretty nasty scratches over the roof. I've now got the covers on her to save her from the inevitable carpet bombing the seagulls like to do around here, prior to this weekend's Nano.

Here's a question...Seeing that empty engine bay, can the car still safely be rolled and steered. with the engine gearbox and driveshafts out?
I will be pulling them from my crashed ZT and want to tow the shell to a friend's property on a 2-wheel dolly for storage. [IMG][/IMG]

Passed the MOT today with no advisories. Shall be spraying the cavities again now. Could have done it before the test but didn't want it to drip from the drain holes onto the tester.😉

Well done Mike, its a good time for rust prevention, the outside temps help to thin the wax for better coverage.

Thanks Trikey! We are going to have to pull the car up a sloping driveway onto a sloping street so it being a roller will make it much easier.
