The only problem with using lacquer is that if you get a stone chip, it can lift and turn milky.

I just polish the headlights, I don’t use UV sealer, it’s no hassle to give them a polish each year.

I lacquereds my headlamp a year ago - it didn't last the winter, by February they were milky. I had to polish the lacquer off to clear the lights.

Not heard of Turtle headlight cleaner. Gone on to fleabay and ordered a bottle. A polish every 3 months or so is certainly doable. I’ve done the faffy but excellent 3M kit thingy.

I used the 3m Kit. Have to say i was really impressed with the results, and can recommend it. I wish i'd taken a before pic to show just how much improved they are now. They were very cloudy and yellow before, and had a bit of a rough texture to them.

I took this just after i'd finished as i was very impressed. I will be using the Turtle cleaner on them quarterly to keep them in good nick.

I've just polished mine regularly but perhaps I should give them a coat of something. I'm had good experience of other E-Tech products so wonder if anyone has tried this?
