Hello Chris,
Does the IPK screen still light up (yellow or red), but display nothing or not light up at all?
The IPK on my 75 tourer lost its display but still lit up, that transpired to be a fault in the dash circuitry, a good second hand dash coded to the car cured it (courtesy of Rick-sta).
There has also been a post somewhere on the forum where the fault was due to damaged connections in the IPK ribbon connector (that may have been repairable).
Hope that helps, Paul.

Paul thanks for your information, mine is nothing shows,no light at all. I think its a job for Rick-sta. Mind you I could live without it but you know how it is " if its fitted its got to work" my weakness! Chris.S.

Might be worth trying a battery reset first. Often fixes little glitches like this. Disconnect for 1/2 hour.

That's a common glitch when the screen stops working completely. A battery reset usually sorts it.
