Default Problem filling up

My cdti will not take fuel on. I have tried all which ways with the pump but it just clicks and clicks. Any suggestions please.

Not heard this one before. I suppose it could be that the tank vent is blocked. Have you tried not pushing the pump nozzle fully in and slowing down the delivery rate so there's room for air to escape?

Is it a pump you usually use?
At my local supplier there is one pump that does the same to my diesel tourer, the other pumps are no problem at all.
Been that way for as long as I have been getting fuel there, just make sure I don’t use that particular pump.
Just a thought.

Is this only at one pump? Did you get any fuel in from the start?

Very strange on a diesel as the filler neck is larger than the petrol version.

Not sure if this applies on our diesels, but fuel must now be in a sealed system, which means venting through a (carbon?) filter. A problem can arise when rather than stopping fuelling when the pump clicks off, we continue to top it right up the filler tube. This causes degradation of the filter which can result in your problem.

Your tank is full and you don't need fuel. That low gauge, is the temperature gauge .

Not on our diesels. There is a vent from the top of the tank which goes to a rollover valve at the top of the OSR wheel arch, and then from there down to a vent clipped to the side of the fuel cooler assembly if I remember correctly.

I bow to your knowledge. Rollover valve cream crackered?

Have tried all the ways to put a nozzle into a tank even upside down in 4 different suppliers pumps and even a supermarket station. The fuel gauge works perfectly as when I stand for a long time and manage 20 litres the fuel gauge reflects this.
