am guessing you didnt read what I had said, or are you just ignoring my question (not the only one)? Maybe I should phrase it as a tabloid headline, without context?

lol, that works both ways. But I take it RT fitted into your agenda so no need to question its policies?

about........?
EDIT: the latest tweet from RT here and another from slightly earlier discussing the takedown here - particularly interesting at 1.00, somebody seems to have borrowed the play book from Donald Trump. Now I dont disbelieve there was discrimination or ruthlessness of the Ukrainian army in Crimea, Donbas and Donetsk, against separatists and residents during the past 8 years (the justification for the fighting there is something I know little about - but have experienced in a small way national sovereignty 'disputes') . I do believe there is an invasion of Russian forces into the rest of Ukraine, again how much from one side or another or how accurate it is being portrayed to us is also questionable (eg how many Ukrainian forces have been lost? These figures have to be sought out, rather than just read or heard on our media, compared with civilian or Russian causalities). Without doubt there is misinformation from both sides, just who is suppressing the most is debatable. It is also interesting that this suppression of information from RT has only occurred now, yet what does the BBC broadcast look like in Russia or their suppression of an outside journalists reporting her version of factual information eg HERE

Ignoring or refusing questioning of a narrative by journalist to provide balance in a factual broadcast is suppression of even what your idea of freedom.of speech is surely? (check their Ofcom slaps on the wrists in the past - include the bbc and itv in your search too). So I ask, how is you post earlier 'so much for freedom of speech' in shutting down a propaganda tool for an invading force relevant or a concern to your idea of freedom.9f speech? Things are beginning to move in the right direction. At least they are from my perspective.
Rumours are reaching the West from within the KGB that not all are in agreement with what’s happening. ‘Factions’ are expressing guarded doubts. Taken together with world wide revulsion, other than predictable quarters, there just might be a de-escalation. Even curiously silent members of The International Criminal Court at The Hague have now started the enquiry into ‘possible’ war crimes. They are to primarily look at events since November 21st. They should go back a year or two to take in Crimea. The sight of the debating chamber applauding the Ukraine ambassador in parliament yesterday was very moving.

I fear events in the Ukraine will end with most if not all of the Ukraine within the Russian Empire as per over the years has been the result in various other countries. The Ukrainian population will be pushed and terrified and make their way to safety in the West, mostly women and young children resulting in problems for the host nations, and thereby achieving a useful result for Russia. When an acceptable amount of death and infrastructure damage is reached, not to much of the latter, the ethnic Russians braught in to take the place of the displaced Ukrainians need places to live, Putin will have achieved his ends and can report to the Russian people his rightness in facing down the Fascist Imperialists. And he will still have Gas and oil to finance his empire. History sometimes repeats it self. Chris.S. P.S. I would like to be wrong!

General Dannatt was being interviewed on the Beeb earlier and he seemed a little concerned over Putin using a tactical nuke.
Oh dear. Anyway Wattisham seems really busy of late. |
