Before the election they might do but after the election, thats' another story. For example, before the election they may say all MPs and Prime Minister should obey the law, after the election they will tell you it was not a party.

Now here's an idea to solve some of the refugee housing crisis. Buck House has some 770 rooms incl 78 bathrooms. It's HM's platinum year and she's moved out to Windsor so why not help out in a positive goodwill gesture. Why not?
PS The taxpayer paid £369 million to refurbish it.

i have an even better idea, people like the the Arch Bishop of Canterbury, who lives in a massive "Palace", All the bleeding hearts and people who say "Let them in, Let them Stay" if they are so keen on letting them in should be made to house at least one Illegal Immigrant, feed them and give them money each week I just wonder how many would take up the call then??

Not the first government to try to implement this scheme. Tony Blair tried it in 2003

No. He did not go through with it.
I have not heard any viable alternatives to what is currently being suggested.

I wonder why nobody has tried to bring the various countries to the Courts UNHCR?) for not allowing the migrants to settle in any one of the member states they have travelled through to get to the Channel. Those intermediate countries are complicit in trafficking, surely.

Well I have one. HMG wants to spend £120 million on flying distressed refugees to a distant country with an unpleasant human rights record. Why not spend that money on seriously identifying the people trafficers?
