Feeling really stupid!!
Hi all, I bought a replacement for my rear ABS sensor a while back and have only recently had time to fit it. I couldnt understand why the fit was so tight and way too long once fitted. What a burk!!! It seems I have ordered a front sensor by mistake. Now the question is could I still use this (SSB000150) with a few washers under the bolt hole to get it sit in the correct place rather than sticking 1cm or so too far out from the stub (see image) or will it have to be another £15 for the correct version (SSB000160) ? Feeling really stupid today

Gary,
Don't bodge it, buy the correct part and mark it down to experience. Simon

We've all done something stupid, as above get the correct part and you've also got a spare front for when one or the other need replacing in the future. So you've bought early lol

You can't bodge this one - the front sensors detect from the side and the rears from the end, so it wouldn't work even if you shimmed it.
