Default What connector do I need?

Dear All
After the long wait to get my car back from the garage, I decided to take out the old radio and fit a second hand double din unit I bought from a club member. Disconnected the two connectors and tried to see were the link cable (with the canbus box attached) plugged in. I think I must special a special adapter missing, as the two plugs (one is brownish the white-I think), don't seem to clip in to anything.
Any help and advice will be gratefully received.
Bob

Default Leads for Double Din, what do I need.

Following on from my first question anout the leads I need to plug in a double din, I found a single wire hanging aroing on the radio cavity, think it is a single grey wire with an clear blue plastic tiny square fitting on the end of it. Has anybody got any suggestions what it is? Senble replies please-I've been reading the funny comments about dipsticks!
Best wishes
Bob

Default Thank you

Dear Sub
The Double Din came with a large lead with a large black socket with the canbus box attached to it;The plug looks like the one in the photo you kindly sent. I cannot see anywhere for this to plug into the existing leads and then into the back of the double din.
Does this make sense?
It seems to me that thier is an additional lead or two missing?
Confuse Bob

If you unplug this lead from your d/din unit, your car original plugs should fit to the back of the radio. The large black square plug is for early cars which used a BMW connector

Default Leads

Thank Suz
There is lead that plugs into the back of the double din, it has the canbus box attached to it and a large black plug at the end, the ebay lead I just posted looks like it plugs into my double din lead and the two smaller plugs at the end of the existing loom will fit into the two sockets. The car is 2003

One last question Bob, although I think you've sorted it, what does the car loom plug look like from the wiring harness? Not the radio, from the car? Is it similar to the large square plug, or are there two separate plugs?
