There also plenty of lamp covers on there once you've found the model number and a replacement should cost you between £12- 20 for a genuine replacement depending on type.

I really like our Neff ovens including the built in combination microwave. The only problem I've had was changing the bulb on the microwave that requires you to remove the oven completely and dismantle half of it to get to the bulb.
Certainly not a job for an amateur

Russ
I rang Neff yesterday and turns out I dont need the information from the label There is a model number on the instructions and that was good enough for Neff.
£30 including postage and vat
Ended up paying early to mid £20's from else where.

I hope I can just pull the bulb downwards to change the bulb. The glass shade in the adjacent oven seems stuck fast, I can see that having to be broken to remove it to access the bulb.

And my damn hob turned its self off yesterday just because I put a hot roasting tin from the oven on it

Give me my gas Range style cooker and hob any time.

If your electric hob has touch-sensitive controls then nothing should be placed on top of those. Is that what's happening?

Or does your Neff hob have a feature where it switches off if no elements are in use for a period of time?

The "rings" turn off if nothing on them but will turn back on if you place the saucepan back on them. I do not know if you leave the pan off for a long time if they would turn on when something is put on them but a short time they will turn back on.
Not sure if I put the hot tray on top of the touch sensitive controls, thanks for mentioning that I will watch out for doing this.

Any chance of getting a piece of mirror in there to reflect it? or as BigRuss suggests.

?
I had to check the instructions, yes we do.
Cost me a milk saucepan and an egg poacher. The wife has wanted to get rid of the egg poacher for years but aluminium
stuff does not work on this hob.

Ahh, that may well be the explanation.

When you remove a saucepan from the element, are you using the touch controls to turn that element off?

If I no longer want to cook anything on the hob, yes I will use the touch controls to turn either that ring off or the whole hob off. If I just want to empty some water for example from the saucepan then no, I do not turn the ring off as I will be putting the saucepan back on it to cook some more.

No need for a mirror, apparently the number of the outside cover of the instruction booklet was good enough for Neff to now what oven I had.

Bulb cover turned up to day and fitted.

Just a suggestion, So dont take offence but have a read of the instructions to make sure you understand how to operate said Neff Hob/Cooker
