Default Mechanics in Redcar area?

Anyone know of a decent trustworthy mech in the Redcar area to take a look at a leaking waterpump on a 1.8T? Might just be pipework but I'm not holding my breath or stripping it further to find out for myself. I just don't have the time or inclination. And don't have the cam locking tools either if it does need changing.

Quick update - it is the water pump that is leaking - a slow drip when cold - a moderate drip if the header tank cap is removed so highly unlikely the head gasket. It's coming down past the bottom pulley boss which would also limit the leak location. I've a fair idea how to do the job and now have my tools here (hurrah). If I could get someone else to do it before next weekend I'd still prefer that, otherwise I can see myself doing it starting Friday evening.
So again - anyone have a recommendation for a garage to undertake a cambelt, tensioner and water pump change on a 1.8T?

Hmm, Rovetech. I wish i dared to go there, as I work about five mins walk away.

However, I took my 25 there once and feel like I was taken advantage of. They charged beyond top dollar for a simple electrical fault. And then said I had HGF and that would be £750. Hmm!

I would appreciate if you could post back and let us know how you get on.

I heard that too, but a member went recently and said they were ok?

After further thought and a look at rovetech site, and how far I'd have to drive it to get round to Seaton I've taken the brave choice to DIY it and have ordered a full kit. Should be tackling this next Saturday weather permitting.

Cool, that is worth bearing in mind.

Ronnie, is Gary in Seaton? Could be handy.
