They certainly haven't spent it on cutting the grass verges or hedges in either the city or county. I don't recall them having been cut at all this year.Very dangerous, you can't approaching traffic over them. 3-4 feet high in some cases.

Steve and Mick - I think you will find that the Council tax rise is to cover exceptional bonus payments to a few senior level council officers as just reward for their excellent performance in cutting low-paid frontline jobs.
