Default Swapping fabric seats to leather seat covers

Well... After much head scratching and other things in life cropping up adding to an ever increasing amount of stress.. adding OEM seat wiring loom to have electric seats has gone out of the window.

So, to make life easier, I'm now thinking of just swapping the fabric to leather to keep the manual seats in the car. Anyone done this before? I've tried searching but not much of a how to or anything

Or

If anyone wants an Neptune blue, double piped ppd seat of seats, arm rest and rear side bolster for £150 (have the heated seat switches, they do have memory function etc).

I did a similar thing, I swapped the covering of a LHD Leather seats for the covering of a RHD passenger Alcantra seat as I wanted to make the passenger seat to have the height lifting function. It easy if you take your time

Just a quick update and a thanks to all those who offered help and advice in this thread and the other thread I started about fitting the leather with electrics.

I can say, the leather is now in the car and looks great.
Actually found swapping the leather and foam to be very easy and much quicker. Sadly, no electrics but that's fine. A plus note I was able to fit lumbar support to the passenger seat .

Thanks again everyone

Thanks for the replies,

@Dave Linc's - I cleaned a couple of the seats and a couple of head rests with anti bac spray and a nail brush and then fed them with autoglym leather care balm. (I think they have spent some time in a shed or garage before we bought them). Need to give them a good clean up really. Would have done it before fitting but time was against us.

When I'm able to clean them up properly etc I'll take some better pictures.

Oh I'll.give that a try we have plenty of baby shampoo in the house.

I cleaned the sandstone leather in our tourer (warm soapy water and a nail brush) the difference it made was huge!
