It would have to be re written for mathematics and im sure kids would find it so much harder to deal with. Ive heard of muttering about this before, i suppose it fits into the idea of taking back control after Brexit.
Do not discount the positives - with Imperial we will be able to trade seamlessly, with an oven-ready system of measurement, with Burma and Myanmar!

In my book, that translates to a complete waste of financial and human resources on a pointless review other than to win a few more votes from a certain demographic. The funds could be more usefully used to add to the £300m/day extra for the NHS.

I suspect whoever came up with the idea probably uses the Imperial system.

My fingers work in Imperial, I can feel a thou or two. To check in metric I have to measure it!

I've no idea whose responsibility it is on these old houses. We had the stopc0ck replaced a few years ago which was on the lead pipework & the emergency plumber that came out said this lead pipework should have been replaced years ago

It just demonstates the crazyness of this country. Use one system, teach it in schools so that everyone is proficient in using it.

Damn, it's been discovered. I was trying a Liz Truss/ BoJo special - a bit of double counting.

That's because they're too stupid to learn a sensible one.
