Default Labour fines

Hi, i see that Starmer and Rayner have received questionaires to fill in from Durham police. I hope that the police do do a thorough job on this investigation ad issue fines if appropriate. Mind Cummings says he hadnt been sent a questionaire.

There is a saying "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" Of dear Starmer you should have kept quite.

To be fair this is the last thing the country needs. Taken to a logical conclusion we could have a government with no pm and a leaderless opposition.

What a mess.

Cummins also said he hasn’t finished with Boris, with more sleazy revelations to come. I am not that interested in what else Cummins has to say which in essence will be sour grapes. What is more pertinent is how the UK is going to get back on its feet again and prosper, no more doom talk please.

If he gets a fine then he will go - rightly so

At the moment, I cannot see any signs of the UK doing just that.

What have we become? A 'free' nation that readily submits to penal punishment for law-breaking without a statute? With current and widespread challenges over the whole concept of what really happened and with no credible rebuttal from anywhere? Now another poxystory hits the headlines. Is there anybody at the wheel? Let alone awake?

I blame the Internet. Not that I like to use the blame word.

Back in the day we'd moan to our mates down the pub and fellow workers and for the most part that would be it.
Now we have a very efficient tool; social media. It's given a megaphone to all and sundry to shout out their opinions on all matters that they are exspurts in. And folks feed off it. Stuff gets blown out of all proportion. It gets stoked up by the media, then the politicals, then the experts then the voters and keeps on going. Then we get those who've been forgotten, so their cause gets championed by someone who wants to make a name for themselves. And on it goes.

If its not partygate, its the NHS, the cost of living or even a certain political union.

Meanwhile the world burns and folks get upset over the most petifogging of trivia. Is it feet 'n' inches or centimetres and metres?

We have a responsibility here, but we'd rather offload it all onto someone else then moan about them when they come to a conclusion different from what we'd have come to.

Tragic really.

And yet here you are doing exactly that which you say others do that you consider tragic! Your endless complaints about the media and their reporting of news being a perfect example.

As do a few others of similar advanced level of expurtise and wusdom!

What expurts we are...on all matters other than cars.

Quite ironic!
