Morning everyone.
A bright start to the day. I have now been in Cornwall 4 years today. And I’m still loving it.

Morning all, What a grey day but at least that infernal constant stiff wind has abated

I keep getting more problems with my working again. I have been told that the people who will decide whether or fail me for driving , they told me I could get stopped from driver because I had a couple fainting due to a type of lack with drinking twice. I have always been ready for drink since then but if when the option stops me , I WILL be ending my life for full, no waiting behind I can’t face the idea of no work for years after it, problem is months of life to get the operation I have waiting for a long time.

Hang in there Rich & play the waiting game, A friend who is a neighbour is in the same boat with just having his HGV licence suspended due to heart issues, His stents have collapsed after they were done 10 years ago so he's worried about not getting it back. It's out of peoples hands as to what the powers that be decide & I can imagine it's a terrible time to be left hanging but hang on in there Rich

We made a decision to do the roast dinner tomorrow as we had some other stuff in the fridge to use up before it's use by date .
I agree entirely with what Ian has said Richard. Keep the faith Boss. We have had busy Bees in the garden today Bees by Jeff Cranwell, on Flickr

Finally figured out my new strimmer, it is a Bosch one. I had £25 voucher for Homebase and they had a 20% discount off of the price. You get an instruction book but with no pictures so trying to figure out how the bits went together stretched my brain.
So I’ve managed to trim the edges in the back garden ok, it has head that rotates so once I got going it was a doddle. So I then decided to tackle the lawn out the front. The council don’t cut it, so I have been mowing it since I moved in. But I thought I would try out the strimmer around the edges. All was going well till I got to the part that slopes, this is where it got tricky. And the battery died. So out came the mower and I cut the grass. My reward was one neighbour, Kelsey, bought me some beer and my other neighbour, Marion made me a cuppa. Will finish it off tomorrow. Tired now but the beer is going down a treat.

Morning all, what journey from Kenya to Heathrow.
The flight was good and Jessica and I each had a row of seats to ourselves in economy which we converted into beds, the plane was almost half empty. Because I returned in a wheelchair, we had to wait for about half an hour on the plane after all the other passengers had disembarked as very few staff with wheelchairs were available. Then it was thousands of passengers queuing ahead of us for passport control. From the gate, we were taken in a buggy to another holding area for passengers needing special assistance. Despite the masses of passengers at border control in front, everyone was patient and appreciative of the difficult and stressful conditions the staff were working under. All of the immigration desks were fully manned. I was escorted to walk a short distance in border control to get to another wheelchair the other side to the special assistance lane. Fortunately a kind porter helped us through this and helped find our luggage, I gave him £10. We were through everything in about 2 hours. Harrisop48 collected us from the short term car park in terminal 3 and chaos traffic in and around the airport. Peter what a saint you were and ever so patient, thank you sir! What is everyone up to? We have sunshine with some high cloud. Off to Tavistock this morning. Then home to carry on with the gardening out front.
