Many years ago, I was having my Vauxhall Astra (company car) serviced at a main dealer. They changed the brake pads and knackered the master cylinder by pushing the pistons back. It was off the road for another day while they waited for the new m/c to arrive.

Whenever I change pads, I open the bleed nipple before pushing the piston(s) in, like you do.

thats why they dont open them if the nipples are stiff. they would rather chance that than risk a snapped bleed nipple. ..

Hi Stefan.
Something like this maybe
1

drill out a little.
2

heat it up a little.
3

Tap in a torx 25
4

Then use a small socket to help remove it, re-heat if you have to.

Yes. It does have its own pump. It is driven from the end of the camshaft I believe.

Not sure if you still are about but did you get this sorted? I'm having the same problem and it's driving me nuts!
