Thanks everyone for the welcome, glad to be accepted as part of the group!

I’m glad people are getting on well with the repair sections, my aim by making them was to give people a head start on doing their own repairs or getting them done locally. I have been doing quite a few sections for the 220 coupe and will continue to make new sections to keep the Rovers on the road.

My interest in 75’s came when I was working in a Rover main dealer bodyshop in Nottingham, the 75’s were the new model at the time and I remember how amazing they drove! I even managed to crash a transit into my boss’ ZT which as you can imagine went down really well!

I will put together a step by step guide for the common repairs as a reference for anyone taking on the job themselves, I may just need a bit of help posting it as I’m not exactly Bill gates when it comes to IT..

Welcome to the group, you replaced the sills on my 75 a few years back and I'm as happy now as I was then, if anyone asks about sill repairs I ask one question, is it a keeper? If it is yes I always say "Tom Hobbs "
I always mention your name in all the Facebook groups I'm in if anyone asks, you've saved a lot of our cars......

I shall be meeting the great guy next Saturday to have a rear sill fixed on my 2001 conni. I will be travelling 110 miles to get the work done but we’ll worth it I think, from all the good comments and all the photos of his work.
See you next Saturday and welcome to the club. All the best Chris ( super chip )

Got mine going in soon to have a couple of your repair panels welded in.

The welder was impressed with them

Hi Chris.
Well we now know what a great job Tom did with your sills, never in doubt though was it really from a craftsman.
