Dashcam suggestions
I've had am a118c installed for a number of hears, got it for under £20. The card slot now won't retain the card, so it looks like it means a replscement. Any suggestions for something similar, not too pricey?

As above - the quality of a Nextbase 222 at £79 is streets above the generic £25 - £50 dashcams.
If you may need to rely on dashcam footage it's worth having the confidence that the footage will be usable.

Dash Cams.
Agree with the Nextbase products, excellent choice.

While I agree that Nextbase do make some good cameras, their cheaper ones do leave a lot to be desired.
Some of the cheaper models store the video as .avi files rather than .mov files. The file size is much bigger, meaning less video can be stored, and the video quality is poorer. Also, the .avi files can't be viewed using the Nextbase 3 software. |

I would not buy a Nextbase 122 as the main dashcam because quality is lacking, but not as lacking as the thousands of generic dashcams being sold. A Nextbase 222 is excellent for the price. A 422GW is excellent without any qualifications. As for viewing videos, just download the free VLC player - it plays almost every format on earth plus a few more!

If you do get a Nextbase, the 122 and the 222 are a bit "meh".
The 322 is worth the money but for an extra £10 the 422 is a much much better camera. 1440p resolution, better parking mode, and a better lens. |
