I really wanted to get to East Kirby in memory of Deb. It would also have been an opportunity to see what this 'friendship' thing that some of you people keep mentioning is all about.
As it happens, I got Covid 2 weeks ago and still have mild symptoms so decided not to risk passing it on. I shall raise a glass of something for Deb and all of you gents and ladies.

Really sorry as yet again I have not managed to get to an East Kirkby meet, even more so as this one is dedicated to the memory of Debs aka Bluebird .
Collected the good lady's Fusion yesterday the damage being £360 , and that's at mates rates, following another bill from just over a fortnight ago of £150 I just could not justify the hotel and fuel expense for this weekend, mind you I doubt I'd have got the keys back off her, she's currently in it shopping Have a great day, post loads of pictures, I'll be raising a glass in Debs memory tonight . Best regards Jim |

Fascinating day - so many cars to see and some super ZT's and 75's and Tomcats - a fitting tribute to Debz.
And many thanks to Dave Lincs for arranging - the Escape /Evasion Museum and the Hangar exhibits were brilliant no mind seeing the Avro Lancaster close up. I did not realise the scale of activity of the Lincolnshire Crash Recovery guys - it is truly fascinating place and humbling experience when you see the names of the men who were lost from 57 Squadron and 630 Squadron -British, Kiwis, Canucks, Aussies, French, Belgian, Polish , Czech and no doubt many more nationalities.

Many thanks to Dave Lincs for putting this all together. A big Thank You to Ricardo and Trikey for making it one very special day. I met up with loads of people, some I haven’t seen for over 5 years.
And many thanks to Dave Lincs for driving Banana to be in front of the Lancaster. I will post pictures up once I’m at home. Staying over at the hotel tonight as my bad leg is playing up.
