Nice to see you again Ian, even if it was just as I was driving off.

Firstly a big thanks to Dave Lincs for organising such a great meet and fitting tribute to Debs (Bluebird). The turnout was incredible and it was good to meet so many new and old faces and very old faces ie the Rev Jules.
Also a big thank you to all those that voted for my car. To say I was speechless is an understatement considering so many beautiful well loved and cared for cars that were on show. Made my day. Here’s another taste of some of the many that were there.

So glad you all had a good day to celebrate Bluebird, and sorry I missed out due to family illness. Great pictures. Also interested to see the one of the Mark 1 Victor (brown and cream), as I have known the owner for over 30 years. It is totally original and just clocked up 81,000 miles as he drove in yesterday. As he put it, Matches his age!

Well first of all thank you to everyone who attended this event and what a great turnout we had and sorry i did not get a chance to say hello to you all but it was a busy day for me
In total we had 235 cars on show which i am very pleased with because after paying East Kirkby and the sale of £650 worth of raffle tickets on the gate has left us to give over £1000 to the air ambulance and make other donations things the mid lincs rover club support I hope everyone had a great day and had a few moments to remember Bluebird who was sadly taken from us late last year and is missed by so many of and will be for many years to come This brings me to next year would you like me to have another East Kirkby event? I hope so as i have provisionally booked the first Saturday in July for 2023 for another Bluebird meet |
