Default Please, brake light nightmare, 100%. SOLVED!

My brake lights are still stuck on.

New switch, they worked for a day, then stuck on again,

Ignition position one, lights off, position two lights on. Tried a scone hand LSM, still on,

I have another brand new switch, tried that, still on

I don't know anyone in Norfolk with T4. Any software out there I can buy which will help me?

Are you sure you don't have blown tail lights (or |LED tail lights) and the brakes are coming on at 50% in emergency mode?

It was a second hand one. Lights all work perfectly except the brake lights.

I did think it might be the LCM as every now and again, when I start the rover (before the brake light fault) and the trip would occasionally say error. A quick turn off and on again sorted it each time.

The second hand LCM worked apart from trip error which I expected and obvious brake lights on.

Are you leds canbus complient? if no they could register as failed and cause the brake lights to come on at half power... a feature of the car...

when you put your foot on the brake do the brake lights get brighter??

If you definitely need a T4, speak to Kelly Clarke of North Walsham, tel. 01692 405495. They are experts on the Rover 75 and their charges are very reasonable.

When I say LED's, I mean the high level brake light.
