I wonder how insurance companies would view their actions. In saying that there doesn't appear to be any warnings about the depth of water.

Default Madness in it's finest form

I note quite a few if not all the Landrover range got through beit a Freelander, disco, or range rover.

But still what makes people still try and plough through water that deep, and why do they go so fast? some cells missing i think, i noted the Tesla got through.

I must also add what a lot of horrible people live in that area, surely you would post people further up the road to stop the traffic and report what is going to happen and stop it, if after that person decides to carry on through then they, ( Truly ) are foolish

A mate purchased a Passat Estate that had stopped in after passing through one of these. It would run but it turns out VW fitted all the cars electronics under the passenger seat including the module for the gearbox. A full set of modules was going to cost by the time they had been coded to the car more than he had paid the car. He scrapped it and the first thing most people were after was a set of modules that were under the seat.

Clearly marked at the side but drivers seam to just ignore it. I took a screenshot and shows the water is about 2ft deep.

Why on Earth would you even attempt to drive through that.

I suspect there are signs either side of the ford to warn of the Ford. Perhaps the residents are in as much pain as we are watching people drive "quickly" through deep water and now just let drivers get on with it. The question of insurance is a good one.

Even so it's not hard to post a few people before the water to flag the car down, even better put a bridge over the dip in the road even a temporary metal one would work.

Surely, none of these would be acceptable insurance claims as these are not accidents and the drivers have not taken reasonable care to avoid damaging their vehicles?
