rover 75 pollen filter

Hi could somebody tell me i have just changed the pollen filter in my rover 75 2003 2.5 manual after having a damp smell coming into the car old filter was dirty but not damp is there another filter under the glove box i need to change as well thank you

The damp smell is probably from your evaporator matrix and as titled there are a few ways you can treat this.

is the beginning of the tail end of a long thread covering the problem. As stated in the thread - I find the easiest way is to go into the side of the evaporator matrix from the passenger footwell. Others may disagree. You can read the whole thread and decide for yourself but if you read from post 74 onwards it will save you some time, good luck.
