Default Sticky pad wanted

Slightly strange request, can anyone suggest something?
Some time ago I purchased a telephone mount, probably from Amazon. One of the ways of fitting was with a bracket, which used a sticky pad to fit to the dash. I successfully used this for quite a while in the previous car, but now I'm transferring over to the replacement car, I need a new sticky pad. I've tried 2 or 3 different brands, but none are strong enough or give up in hot weather. Any suggestions? I don't want to damage the wood facia by glueing or screwing.

Hi Stewart hope you are well, go to a car bodyshop and ask them for a piece of double sided tape that they stick door mouldings on with etc it will be perfect, If you are coming to east kirkby next weekend I will bring some for you

Hi Stewart.
3m VHB tape and pads are really good, there is a link below but great offer from Dave.

i gave up on the 3M tapes a while back. what i found was they deteriorate under high temps. I now use the GORILLA transparent double sided tape. its very strong. Its expensive but good. i now use it on exterior trim (torpedo badges etc) I used it to stick my wifes civic rear chrome badge on which was removed . It is weatherproof and resists the high powered jet hoses at the carwash , so has been good. (civic gets this punishment , not the rover ) Still thats my take on it but everyone to their own preference,as we can only go on our own experiences . ...
