proud or embarressed
Went to the British Motor Museum near Banbury today and sat in the last Rover 75 made.
My wife now tells people we drive around in a museum piece. macafee2 |

Tell her that's a good thing!
If it was junk they wouldn't bother putting one in a museum lol

100%proud even though some give me grief but that's because these cars are one of the best kept secrets in the motor industry due to our beloved media.
Just last week a colleague of mine said how nice my ZT 190 looks and sounds but never looked at the marque when they were under dealership sales because of the head gasket issues and poor quality reported in the press I don't bother telling people anymore and just know how proud I am of the car (my 4th MG/R75). I honestly think these will be classics people are looking for in the future. You don't see many other marques of the same age running around

Museum piece or not I challenged a colleague to find rust on any of the MGR cars and he failed. People can call it what they like. Its my transport and I enjoy every mile.

My ZT-T has done around 100,000 miles under my ownership - and has been incredibly cheap to run (all things considered!)
She just needed some rear suspension work last year, but back with pride of place on the driveway now.
