Good morning Ian, morning all Ian, having been on hormone treatment since March, I get the same thing for hot and cold at night. The upside is the urination is much stronger with less visits to the loo and my hair has started to grow again. The medication is shrinking the prostate. I realise you are having a difficult time with the treatment but it will be worth it in the end. I say the very same to myself as it stops me from getting a downer. Now concentrating on gaining weight and trying to get stronger after the big op. I have managed to cut back on the liquid Oxycodone to once at night in 24 hours. The problem with Oxycodone is it’s class A, it’s addictive and it’s constipating, it destroys the pain and it makes me feel calm and peaceful as though I don’t want to do anything. I will be glad to get off it completely but not quite there. Still no appetite but managing high protein milk shakes, they taste like McDonalds a bit too sweet. I chatted with Rod yesterday and he is doing okay. Not sure when or if he is ready for the chill out lounge. |

Not sure if anyone is ever ready for the chill out lounge.
I'm still waiting for the hormone stuff! A batch was released by the manufacturer early last week but its still working its way down the supply chain, hasn't reached pharmacy level yet. |

Its good news Steve that it’s coming your way although it’s frustrating you have had to wait such a long time. I sincerely hope you get a date for the treatment soon.

Morning folks.
It was grey damp and misty start to the day at first light (or lack of) but the sun burnt through and now its quite nice out there. Hoping to take Lady Emma out for a run later this afternoon. My friend Ian needs to drop a boat off at Thurne so I shall follow him in Lady Emma then bring him back to Acle . It is set to be a bit windier later so I'll need to be on my A game helming. I haven't had Lady Emma out of the marina for a couple of months so I hope I remember my port from starboard

Forgot to mention......We might accidentally moor up at the Acle Bridge Inn on our return journey for a spot of dinner

Waiting for a new mobile battery to arrive, phone doesn't last a day and that's it just sitting on standby with nothing running in the background. Its an old iPhone 5, Ging keeps at me to get a new one but all the new ones seem to be clunking big things. I don't want something the size of a small laptop in my pocket. |

The phone is one of Ging's hand me downs after I managed to break the screen on the Samsung I had. Don't really like iPhones, preferred the Samsung, could store music etc on the memory card but it's doing a job for now. |

Hi Phil, Yeah I moan about it at times but it is working , I've got another flow test appointment in a months time. Hope you're back to health ASAP & gain some weight to keep your strength up after that big operation. Good to hear Rod is OK, Miss him & his his humour in the chill out zone. Picked the first lot of rhubarb I grew from seed to make a rhubarb crumble. Halfway done now to toast the crumble topping I've been watching this young sparrowhawk swooping in between the trees trying to take one of the sparrows from the bird feeders for 5 minutes, I cant get outside to get a good shot of it for fear of scaring it away so have to be content with a pic through the door glass

Never forget at the old house, I walked into the kitchen and there was a huge bird in the middle of the grass in the back garden, wtf is that! It flew away after a minute or so, an internet search revealed it was a Peregrine Falcon.
Finally built up the enthusiasm to do some guitar work for my mate's brother, wiring up a scratchplate, new pots, switch etc, even after doing that I feel knackered |
