One thing I spotted while checking it is rechargeable is its a £30 a year subscription for the sim card for it.

What phone do you have? All phones give off an underlying signal that can ‘talk’ to each other.. if you have an iPhone an Apple air tag works well, every time an iPhone is in range it pings a signal and updates it’s location. Samsung do their own device. I use Apple and my wife android so we have both items hidden in the Abarth so both networks trigger the location. Approx £50 and no subscription and works very well
