Default Hints on refitting Tourer tailgate card?

Yes it should be a simple job - to refit the interior tailgate card - but blimey what a kerfuffle! As most of the yellow plastic plugs break when you lever it off, I then replace with a dab of glue gun glue as I find the replacements are just too loose. But then you need four hands to line them up and inevitably at least one doesn't so I clamp, hammer and scream till it sort of goes back, but it's never gone back straight and tight.
So anyone got some new ideas please?

I can’t help, but I’ll wait for some answers.

I’ve got something rattling in my tailgate, but I’m a bit nervous about removing the panel.

It depends on the quality of the clips. Buy genuine BMW door card clips from your local BMW dealer and you'll notice how nicely they clip in. If the trim doesn't line up then it is probably warped, genuinely never had an issue trying to get it clipped in.
