Windows Live OneCare

I deleted Norton - everyone eventually does. I downloaded Microsoft OneCare Anti virus software (90 day free trail) & it slowed down my laptop something shocking.

Something to do with MsMpEng.exe which consumes vast amounts of memory.

So, I'm currently deleting OneCare & Windows defender & downloading AVG. Most people in the know seem to recommend AVG.

Anyone else experimented with OneCare? Any other anti virus/ anti spyware recommendations?
