Best AA rechargables money can buy are the 7dayshop 2900mAh ones. They last the longest and can be charged from dead to full in an hour.
I use them in all my Speedlites and previously in my Canon Powershots before they made their own lithium battery.
The 16 pack is great value at £16.99 or standard packs of 4 are £4.99

Went and got the camera today and to say shes over the moon is some understatement! What a grat bit of kit it is. Again thanks for the heads up Mick

These look like superb value.
If I hadn't spent all my money on the car I'd be getting down to Argos - hopefully they'll stay at that price, or they'll have something similar.

I just bought one of these on the reccomendation of this forum and as a bit of a photography novice i would like to say this camera is exceptional! I love it already, going to knockhill to see some car racing tomorrow and will take some pics and share them!
