updates

Can anyone help,for the last ten days every time i start up my laptop i get windows updates,also when shutting down get windows message
'dont shut off windows adjusting'. It may have started when i had a abode flash player update message which i canceled 3 or 4 times also tried downloading nothing happened.
Laptop working ok but it's trying my patience.

Something's quite likely got corrupted or thinks it needs an administrator to install it.
Go into Windows update & check the update history.
If there's something that has failed repeatedly, look it up in the knowledge base using the KB...... reference number in its title and try to install it manually.

This site performs miracles the very next time i turned on my laptop after the posting the problem disappeared.

My laptop does not want to know. It just turns around and folds its arms...

Might have to factory restore
