Well done imaginative if you use slowest setting you could create the waterfall appreciated so much in idyllic country shots, seriously though keep stretching the boundaries one I have been thinking of is unusual views of familiar objects to exercise members 'little grey cells'

I quite enjoy taking pictures just as experiments. What if I alter this and then tweak that. The knowledge you gain comes in handy in the future. One of the good things about digital photography is that you can shoot off lots of shots with no developing costs.

What camera have you got? You may well have said elsewhere and I have forgotten, seems to happen more these days lol.

I had a Nikon D50 for 10 years, and in all that time the shutter count was at 3600 ish when I passed it on to my daughter a few weeks ago. this new one has already reached over 700... yup I'm trigger happy, especially as I've discovered and using burst mode

It's a Nikon D5300, pretty much an entry level DSLR in the Nikon range but it was all I could afford, well my bank balance and credit card would argue that point, but I was like an over-excited kid in a sweet shop and I just had to have it

I'm quickly becoming aware of it's short-comings and wished I could have afforded better but hey-ho I'll get used to being without the things its bigger siblings have. I love it

Nice use of a fast shutter speed to 'Freeze' the water droplets.

If you do try a slow shutter like Mike suggested, this will turn the water to 'milk', don't forget to make sure the camera can't move so as not to cause camera shake on the exposure
