I have played with friends iPhones 5s phones and I'm sold on one.
I'm on a sim only contract and would rather pay for the phone outright so hopefully that price will now become a little more attractive

It does feel much lighter in the hand, I think mostly that is due to not using the glass backs on the 5 and 5s.
I do remember comments being made about the finish easily marking but as I always keep my phone in a protective case I'm not unduly worried

Default But...

It's about time that the battery lasted more than a day...My old Samsung £7.50 phone needed charging weekly, The iphones are terrible for battery power.

I've had my iphone5 since about a month after it was released, it's been a case ever since, but there is some marking to the finish on the back. The case must've been slightly loose and rubbed a bit. But overall, I'm sold on iPhones, and in fact on all things apple.

I'll probably do the usual, sell my iPhone for the cost of a new 1 on contract. Last time I sold my 4 to my dad for £130, and paid £145 for the 5. He got a cheap 4 and I got a 5, both happy!

I've got mine in a case now. I left it without so I could show the very attractive space grey colour off to inquisitive eyes.

If you had told me a couple of months ago, I sold mine.

It was 2 months old, with no marks at all (always in case and always with screen cover)

Boxed with everything.

One of my pals gave me £150

Purely because the business contract (3 iphones, 2 ipads, Mobile 4g thingy jig and a HTC) had moved over from orange to EE.

You do know if you can get a totally knackered one, you can take it to the apple store and they will give you a brand new one for about £120???

Just upgraded to 5S (fully aware of tonights announcements) a week or so ago and sold the 4S 16GB via ebay for £155. Happy with resale value at that time, suspect value has gone down now.

Yes 5S a lovely phone and just feels so classy to use, bit like our cars

Having said that changes are small compared to 4S and after the initial feel good factor of it's slimness and lovely metal back the usage is a little underwhelming.

Bought my son his 1st phone at same time, a Nokia Lumia 520 (the entry level one) and was genuinely more excited helping him set that up than my 5S Would like to try the flagship Nokia Lumia at some point...

Think they are Apple refurbs but still good offer. My son had a Apple Ipod Touch that he dropped a year or so ago, swapped it for a refurb for about £70.
Lucky we have a huge Apple store in Norwich, helpful and attractive staff (the girls)
