Thing is what do we expect. Once you have smart phone everything else is an enhancement. My iPhone is literally full so will have trouble lol.

The issue is that you have to download iOS 8 alongside iOS 7, hence the large size. Once iOS 8 is on it then wipes iOS 7 off..

Can be a little annoying when you are low on space. 😕

What annoys me is when in Safari, you open a page as such, but there is no longer a 'X' so to speak to close the page. It's always there, every last page you have viewed and you can't close it down.

Works fine on my ipad2 although the internet is decidedly slower since the upgrade.

If you download via iTunes the size is only 1Gb. Apple should have warned users about this. 5.5Gb is a big download....

At the moment, depending on your device model, iOS 7.1.2 is still available for some users who do not want iOS 8, that is until Apple signs it off completely. The rule is to back everything up first before attempting the downgrade.

Apple are quite clever and cunning in how they have launched this latest update. In particular with iCloud Drive, making it impossible to access the iCloud until all of my Apple devices have been upgraded to 8. I find this prescriptive compliance annoying, plus it requires a monthly subscription to use the cloud. I did see that Apple have pulled the OS update for the iPhone 4. I expect another update will be released soon to fix the bugs.

Just tap the bottom of the screen when in Safari and then the 2 squares symbol and you can close all the unwanted pages from there
