I have downloaded it to my ipad2 and can honestly say that I wish I hadn't. Internet slower, this forum now not working as it should, back button does not always reload previos page, pain when reading thru new posts, as then I have to go to new posts again and scroll down to where I was.
Not keen on the extra taps to make web pages larger when using reading list/bookmarks......
That is what I have found so far!

Default Not impressed

Why have they moved favourites to the left of the screen now? Why does the top half of the screen sometimes disappear to white when I scroll down a thread? Why do you have to tap at the top of the screen to retrieve the back button now?

Why keep fiddling with something that was bang on before ios7, when all text and formatting was actually readable and not all against white as it is now

Rant over.....for now. Apple I hope you are reading this

Paul I feel your pain and I won't be upgrading to 8 on the iPhone 4s or the MacBook Pro until I see an update which fixes these issues. Since upgrading to 8 on the iPad, the speed and flow for video editing and photo editing is no longer easier and has become a chore, where I have to follow a new protocol as laid down by the Apple way, or no way. I did not have the bottle to go back from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.2 so will have live with it. I am happy that others are not having any trouble with the upgrade, but I for one am finding the upgrade to be challenging

Strangely enough the one thing I do like so far (on the iPad2) is the lists now on the LH side...........maybe being left handed has something to do with that

Regarding the back button issue, I find I never use it I just swipe from left to right on the screen to go to the previous page. Much easier

I have just had an alert via the Bloomberg, that Apple pulled IOS 8 one hour ago. In Steve Jobs days, he would have sacked those for bringing a product to the public not ready. Poor show Apple...

I don't know about anyone else, but when typing a post on the iPad2 with IOS8, the virtual keyboard now completely covers the forum message text box, and you have to manually scroll the screen behind the keyboard to actually see what you are typing.

On the previous IOS, the text editor box would automatically place itself at the top and scroll itself down as you typed your post, always keeping it above the area of the keyboard. Another backward step IMHO

the latest scam on IOS 8 / Iphone 6 release made me giggle....

A spoof advert from Apple was released in which the add claims that the i-phone 6/0 has induction charging (true) but with WAVE technology and that IOS 8 adds this wave technology to standard apple products...

What is WAVE technology???...

well it claims that if you use the induction charging faclity you can fully charge your phone in under 5 minutes by charging it in a MICROWAVE OVEN for 5 mins on full power....

Apparently hundreds of new i-phone users states side have nuked thier lovely new phones....

Only in America...
