Smile hiline replacement

hello everyone,

after 17 years stirling service, my alpine hiline unit has bit the dust.

I know that every topic on these cars has been discussed ten times over and in the archives of this forum are all the answers i need, its just that I cant find them, or at least the pages of answers i do find are confusing to me. So could sombody clearly without pros and cons please point me towards the best fitting and functioning replacement that will connect to my android phone and allow me to have sat nav and perhaps a rear camera? Price is not really a concern, I just want something that is easy to fit looks the part and fits well without undue cutting and shutting.

thank you, its really appriciated

I have one of these:

Fits well with a bit of jiggery-pokery. The side lugs need to be removed (with a hacksaw). There's also a wide-screen mechless model which looks tempting.

I had Navall 3 for about 4 years now.

The big problem with unit with CD player is, that if you want unit sit flush in console,
then there is very little space for the cables on the back.
This is because CD unit is too deep and takes much space.

Cables on the back of the unit have to bend very much and sometimes there was problem with speaker cables and the sound was cut out.

I will get new widescreen Erisin soon.
