Hi Poppy. Not sure. Is it Open Office or Thuderbird you're trying to install?.
This was the link to Thunderbird that I used: http://download.mozilla.org/?product...win&lang=en-GB After I saved this file, I then Ran it, and it downloaded and installed itself. I got Open Office from here: http://download.openoffice.org/other.html#tested-full If you scroll down the page you will see the one for your system and country. This is the link for English (U.K) on a Windows based platform: http://download.services.openoffice....wJRE_en-GB.exe Same process for installation as Thunderbird I think. Hope this helps, Swanny

Guys,
I'm not the most gifted when it comes to computer technology, so help needed. I have tried to down load Open Office but as soon as I try a page comes up with file not found with a number of reasons why, which I don't understand Looking at all the replies it seems everyone can get it but me, so guess I am screwing up somewhere Do I need to register first before I download? Or is it my system? It runs Windows XP but I have no office applications

If you search for Go Open office this package has been written to allow reading and writing of Docx xlsx files!

Open Source DVD writing software.
Quote:
With Nero I can take raw AVI files, and it will convert them and burn them to a normal DVD format without any extra steps. But with Infrarecorder, it can't work with the AVI file itself, and you need other software to create the ISO image first. Does anybody know of any Open source software that will do this all in one swoop?. Cheers, Swanny
