Default Disk Pad Low Warning light

How can I clear the Disk Pad Low Warning light on the IPK?
the rear sensor was damaged so I removed it awaiting a replacement but the warning light is still on, any advice is greatfully received.
Regards
Gareth

It will clear itself the first time you lock and unlock the car after refitting a new sensor I believe.

If you join the two wires from the plug at the rear together, and then insulate them then that will clear the IPK warning

The front and rear sensors are connected in a loop to the IPK. If any part of the loop is cut, the warning pops up. In normal operation, the loop is cut when one or other wear sensor head is worn down by the brake disc. A small part of the circuit is embedded in the head.
