I'm knackered! Just spent about three hours working on the beast. Picked up a set of jacking pads, they're fitted with a wee bit silicone to seal them and stop them going walkabout. Took the foostiest wheel rim off the car to clean it up. Great day for a bit of work on the car when I started, warm but cloudy but then the sun broke through the cloud

G'day all - spending my last day in the sunshine capital of the World today - it's wall to wall blue skies and sun since about 6.00am this morning.
Taken the awning down to save time tomorrow, when we leave Cornwall for a week's stay near Hereford.
Our destination - the quirkily named "Cuckoo's Corner" - adults only caravan site
I presume that the 'adults only' bit refers to no children - not some sort of secret perverted activities which take place after lights out
I'm going to be really sorry to leave Cornwall - over the past two weeks it's given us everything we could possibly want for a relaxing Summer break - we'll be back again

So, if you're anywhere near the A30, M5, M48 (Severn Bridge) A40, A4317 or A49 tomorrow - give me a wave

Been too busy lapping up the sun, the scones, the strawberry jam and clotted cream Jeff - not to mention the pasties and cider (mixture of Thatchers Gold and Henry Weston's Vintage).

I have this fear that I may be banned from crossing the Severn Bridge tomorrow - for being overweight

Or you could leave it open and a candle in the window, might make a friend for life

There's a saying amongst caravanners "if the 'van's a-rocking - don't come knocking!"

It's nice to hear that you have had a lovely relaxing time both of you
Hope you have some elasticated trousers for when you get home

Talking of Hereford, I'm outside in the garden suffering the Belguim v Russia game supping on a glass of Herefords finest
This one is a low alcohol 2.8% Five Fruit Harvest.
I also have a bottle of Indian Summer Cider to try later on

mmmm - sounds good, I'll have to try some It's at the other end of the scale to Henry Weston's Vintage - 2.8% compared to 8.2%

It's very sickly sweet to be honest.
More of a summer refreshment than a drinkers cider
I haven't yet opened the Indian Summer one, that has ginger in it so should be quite fiery
