Refitting abs pump

Hi guys,

A quick question....

Following a major battery leak I've replaced all the abs and battery brackets and a nice clean abs module. In refitting the brake pipes into the module I struggled to keep the nuts / joints totally free of brake fluid on a couple so is this a bad thing? Or should I take it apart again and refit the pipes only with dry fluid free threads.

It shouldn't cause any issues.

Your only problem with wet links is the damage drips of fluid do to the paintwork

Thanks Michael, the outside of the module and pipes and fittings are bone dry, it was just in the threads/pipe/flare that the fluid was present.

you now need to bleed the brakes and have it pluged in to a t4 when doing it to do the job right
