Service light reset itself???
Had the motor in yesterday for non-electronic jobs (handbrake, suspension) – oh and putting new connectors under the driver’s seat to get the airbag light off. The guy who did it is a Rover specialist, uses T4 etc, has done a lot of work on my car, and I’m satisfied he really knows what he’s doing.
However… when I collected the car, I noticed that the display said Inspection, 15000 miles – whereas it had been on Oil Service, and something like 6000 or 7000 before. I asked the mechanic if he’d done it for any reason, but he says definitely not… Anybody have any thoughts?

Happened to me when some settings were changed during a T4 session on my V8 at Austin Garages. Don't know whether it was an accident, or some things that you do in a T4 session include a reset of the Service Schedule countdown as a non-optional freebie !
Someone with a T4 will know, I guess. |

Ummm... thanks, but happens by default when you do what? I've had T4 used on my car many times, and it hasn't happened before... or did he forget to turn this option off or something?
