MOT- Passed!
It flew through again, with 0.90 opacity and no advisories, not even a suggestion.
Last year it was suggested off the MOT record, I should look at getting the rear arms rust protected, which I had done in July / September after a bit of a kerfuffle over the standard of the work which I paid for doing at a garage. Whilst that was being done, I had them replace the very exposed rear brake pipes with copper for peace of mind, done via tank removal and in the original clips - I was fed up of annually greasing them. The tiny exposed section of front pipes I also greased, but they were easy to give them adequate protection. Last year I treated it to a replacement a/c condenser, when the a/c lost it's gas completely - so I have spent more on it these past two years, than I have spent in all of the time I have had it, though not complaining at all. I have just checked it's MOT history - there were just two fails noted. One broken rear spring when I bought it, then the other a few years later, which I myself replaced. MOT inspector said it was in superb fettle.

I had my rear arms treated to prevent them rusting back in July. They were the only part of the car for which I had concerns about rust. The entire car was factory treated, strangely - apart from those arms. I tweaked my handbrake a couple of weeks before MOT, just to make sure.
