How to remove the gear knob rover 75
Hi I need to change the gaiter on a rover75 gear knob how do you remove the gear knob does it unscrew or does it just pull off the car is a manual 2003 rover 75 thank you

I seem to remember seeing a How to using a piece of forked wood under the gear knob and another piece of wood to rest the lever on over the armrest as a fulcrum. I may be talking out of my whatnot and be remembering another car entirely. The theory seems to make sense though!!!

If by chance you are removing it to replace it with another then make sure it is the right fit. I believe the later facelift ones are a different fit from the early ones.
