Just seen that Mike Nesmith of The Monkees has died.
Used to love watching the TV show and still enjoy the music.

Probably the only true musician in the group, wrote many of the songs. Fan of the Monkees. Did you know, his mother invented typewriter correction fluid? Tippex as it became known.

The man who basically invented MTV, it was his idea. I still have my Ticket stub from a 90's concert with the full line up. We're all nudging the fingers of the clock..

As said, he was one of the more musically talented members of the group.
